HP V6 DDR4-3200 16GB Memory Kit Overview
HP has done a really good job making their V6 DDR4 kits attractive. We received the black version, which features a black heatspreader and black PCB. HP also offers modules in blue and red version as well (both with black heatspreaders).
Talking about the heatspreaders they have the HP logo in the center, say “DDR4” on the left and “V6” on the right with silver accents. Like I said earlier they look quite good!
On the opposite side of each module you have the typical sticker which gives you all of the information on the kit. For those wondering this is the 16GB (2x8GB) kit that runs at 3200 MHz with timings of 18.18.18.38 at 1.35V.
The top of the modules have grooves in the them, which increases their surface area and makes them look kinda cool. For those wondering the modules are 1.36-inches at their highest point. You really shouldn’t run into any clearance issues with this kit.
