Intel Announces Arc A770 Arc Alchemist Desktop Graphics Card For $329

Intel has finally announced that the A770 Limited Edition, the flagship GPU of the Arc Alchemist desktop line, will be released on October 12.

The CEO of Intel confirmed at Intel Innovation that the A770 will cost 329 USD, which is a very fair price for this model. Here is a reminder that the A770 has a complete ACM-G10 GPU with 32 Xe-Cores and 8GB to 16GB of RAM. However, the Intel Limited Edition only has 16GB of VRAM. The $329 pricing point might be referring to the 8GB model.

According to Intel, its GPU provides up to 65% more peak performance in ray tracing than rival competitors (likely NVIDIA RTX 3060 series).

Unfortunately, neither the availability or pricing of the A750 nor the A580 GPU has been announced as of yet. The face of the Arc Alchemist marketing campaign, Ryan Shrout, has indicated that we will learn more about the A750 GPU later this week. Additionally, Pat Gelsinger verified that A770 LE units are now being sent to reviewers.

Intel will market the Limited Edition in conjunction with its e-commerce and retail partners. The company has revealed the latest images revealing the packaging that has been teased for the previous several months.

In addition to the release of the first GPU on October 12, it is also important to know that NVIDIA’s RTX 4090 GPU will be released on the same day.
