Intel Teasing New Control Panel For Discrete GPUs

Intel is getting ready for GDC 2019, which takes place next week. On their official “Intel Graphics” Twitter page they have teased their new control panel for discrete graphics cards. You can see that video below…

The control panel looks very much like Steam actually, which is not a bad thing. It definitely looks far better than NVIDIA’s control panel, which looks like its from the early 2000s. While NVIDIA has their GeForce Experience, that does not give you options for specific graphics card settings, which you need to change in the aging NVIDIA control panel. Intel’s upcoming control panel looks far better than NVIDIA’s control panel and from the looks of it Game Optimizations and GPU settings will be in the same app, not two different apps like we have with NVIDIA.

Hopefully we will get to see a working version of this control panel at Intel’s Odyssey event next week.

Intel will not be launching any discrete graphics cards this year, with a major focus on 2020. We should get more details on the timeline at the Odyssey event next week.
