Kingston DataTraveler Max USB 3.2 Gen 2 Flash Drive Overview
Kingston does make it pretty easy to tell the USB-A and USB-C drives apart. The USB-A drive is a sort of burgundy color, while the USB-C drive is all black. The drive itself is mostly made of plastic.
These drives have your standard USB flash drive “candybar” shape, with a little opening on the end so you can attach the drive to a keychain or lanyard. Towards the end of the drive it does list the capacity. The USB-C drive is slightly smaller than the USB-A drive. The official dimensions of the drives are USB-C: 82.17 mm x 22.00 mm x 9.02 mm, USB-A: 91.17 mm x 22.00 mm x 9.02 mm.
Each connector of the drive sort of retracts into the plastic casing, but this does not provide full protection as the back part of the drive is open, exposing the connector.
