LaCie Shows Off World’s Fastest USB 3.1 Hard Drive

Do you need a fast external hard drive? Well LaCie has definitely got you covered with their new Chromè drive. This is actually the world’s fastest USB 3.1 hard drive with blistering speeds of 940 MB/s!

The design matches the name as we have an all chrome enclosure. The design of the drive was actually done by Neil Poulton. LaCie is able to achieve such fast transfer speed because there are actually two hard drives inside in a RAID 0 array.
