Ultra-Widescreens have not really caught on just yet, but LG sure thinks they will and has created the first all-in-one ultra-widescreen desktop using their EA93 29-inch Ultra-widescreen display. The V960 all-in-one features a screen resolution of 2560 x 1080, is powered by an NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M GPU and Intel Core i5 processor.
The V960 is not only a full PC, but also includes a standalone TV tuner which will let you watch TV while the PC is powered down. There is also a PIP (picture-in-picture) mode that will allow you to watch TV while working on the PC. The V960 can also work as a standalone monitor as it has HDMI and MHL inputs.
LG also has shown variant of the EA93 that lack the PC components, but does have the standalone TV tuner and a DisplayPort input.
The V960 will be priced between $1300 and $2020 depending on the hardware configuration. The TV tuner equipped display is priced around $600.
