Logitech MX Sound 2.0 Computer Speakers Review

Final Thoughts
At the end of the day Logitech’s MX Sound 2.0 speakers are a great choice for anyone looking for a sleek and crisp-sounding speaker system for their desktop or laptop setup. Obviously sound is the most important thing here and this set does a great job with all types of music as well as different game types. I think for most people the sound quality as well as loudness will be adequate, but if you are looking for loud thumping bass you would be better off getting a kit that has a subwoofer.

Besides having good sound this speaker system has a really cool and unique look to it. Each speaker has a circular shape with a fabric front cover. Having these on your desk actually adds to the aesthetic of your setup and I’ve had people walk into the office and go “are those speakers?”. The motion-activated touch-sensitive controls are pretty awesome too and since they only turn on when you wave your hand in front of the speaker you keep that same awesome look of the speakers at all times.

Another added bonus of this speaker system is that it has Bluetooth meaning you can connect mobile devices as well as your laptop. This makes it an ideal system for laptop users. The Bluetooth is pretty awesome as well. You can have more than one device connected to the speakers at a time and easily switch between the two without disconnecting or re-pairing.

This speaker system is in an interesting spot as it is a combination of a PC speaker system and a Bluetooth speaker. While this is great if that is something you are looking for there are better options out there in both categories.

At the end of the day Logitech has a beautiful speaker system and sound good and has some interesting features. Right now you can pick it up at our favorite online retailer for $99. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Logitech MX Sound 2.0 a 9 out of 10 score.
