Final Thoughts
LUXA2 has a full line of Bluetooth headsets and the Lavi D sort of sits in the middle. The Lavi S that we already took a look at is not only a Bluetooth headset but a Bluetooth speaker as well. The Lavi L is more of a lightweight headset that sits on your ears rather than over them. So as I said the Lavi D sits in the middle and is LUXA2’s Bluetooth headset made for listening to music.
Each earcup of the Lavi D has a nice 40 mm driver inside which gives you crisp and clear sound. The earcups actually go over your ears to give you a more immersive experience too. This will also help you hear people better if you happen to use the headset to take calls or anything like that. But we do warn you if you do take calls there is a chance the person on the other end might might hear themselves, we experienced this issue in our testing.
One very important thing with headphones is they have to be comfortable, you are going to be wearing them for long periods of time. The Lavi D has a nice cushion on the headband and large cushions on the earpads. I wore the headset for hours at a time during my testing in the past couple of weeks neither the top of my head or ears really became irritated after hours of use.
The headphone also have all of their controls on the earcups themselves so you can easily adjust the volume, play, pause or skip tracks and even answer calls. This is great as you don’t really need to have your Bluetooth device on your person. It can be in the other room charging. This is also a dual-mode headset so you can directly connect it to your device using the supplied audio cable.
