The S.T.R.I.K.E. M comes in three different color choices, red, black, and white. We received the red version. So the keyboard is mostly red with black keys. The chassis of the keyboard is made of glossy plastic, which looks really good. The keyboard has a very cool and aggressive design to it. It is going to give you a full keyboard layout minus a number pad. Mad Catz uses their Micro P.U.L.S.E. scissor keys on this keyboard. They respond to 60g of actuation force for tactile feedback, and their 2mm travel distance enables speedy typing. The keys are backlit as well, so you can use the keyboard in any situation and you will be able to see the keys just fine.

At the top left of the keyboard you will find a volume slider. If you press it in it will toggle audio mute on and off. Below that you will find multimedia buttons that include back, play / pause, and forward. Moving down there is an area that will show you your battery level, if you have caps lock on, and which device you have connected. Moving over from that there are left and right mouse click buttons, a brightness cycle button, device cycle button, and a Bluetooth pairing button. The S.T.R.I.K.E. M supports up to 4 different devices, so you can easily cycle between them using the device cycle button.

Mad Catz has gone with an oversized spacebar. Anyone who plays games where there is a lot of jumping will appreciate this!

At the top right of the keyboard you will find an OFN sensor (trackpad) and left and right mouse buttons. This sensor gives your fingertip cursor navigation, which is definitely plus for Android tablet users.

Flipping the keyboard over there are five rubber feet that will keep the keyboard in place.

At the top left of the keyboard you will find the only connection, which is a microUSB port for charging. Mad Catz tells us that the S.T.R.I.K.E. M when fully charged will give you 30 hours of battery life. Since it is a USB connection you can easily charge it with a mobile charger or even your tablet! Beside the microUSB port is the power switch.
