MEGAsizeGPU recently shared an unexpected RTX 4090 design. No one was probably expecting to see a blower-type cooler on this GPU until MANLI stepped in, with RTX 4090 custom versions expanding to four slots with high-end AIO coolers and 360mm radiators.
The company is developing a 2-slot RTX 4090 with a single blower fan. The blower RTX 4090 will be the first (and most likely the last). It is expected that this cooler would dissipate power up to 450W, which is a task that may be impossible to complete.
It is worth noting that NVIDIA secretly demanded that all board partners drop their plans for RTX 3090 cards with blower-type fans. Professionals that use their computers as workstations often favored RTX gaming GPUs over more costly Quadro/RTX GPUs; hence cards like these saw widespread use.
It would be strange if MANLI were permitted to ship this design, and it would be even more unexpected if this blower fan could withstand heavy workloads.
