MetallicGear Neo Case Overview
As you can see we received the black version of the MetallicGear Neo, but it is also available in silver (with black interior). The case is a mid tower and has official dimensions of 450 mm x 400 mm x 210 mm (HxDxW). Picking up the case it has a sturdy and high quality feel to it.
MetallicGear has gone with an all-plain front panel, which is actually a solid piece of sandblasted aluminum. This gives the case a very sleek and refined look.
Moving up to the top of the case we have another sandblasted aluminum panel, which lines up perfectly with the front panel. You can see the slight curves on the corners, which adds a little style. There are two main buttons on the top of the case, one is power and the other is actually to toggle the RGB light on the bottom of the case. The rest of the top of the case is plain and there are no top cooling options.
Each side of the case has a tempered glass side panel, that is slightly tinted. Each panel also has a sort of block-style design towards the bottom, this lines up with the power supply cover on the main panel and the bottom section of the case on the opposite panel. Each panel is held in place by four thumbscrews.
On the main side of the case you’ll find a few thing, which include HD audio connections, a small reset button, and two USB 3.0 ports. Right below that there is a ventilated section, so you do get some intake for your front fans, but by no means is this a high air-flow case.
Coming around to the rear of the case there is room for a 120 mm fan, but it is not included. You can also see the seven expansion slot covers, some ventilation, and of course the power supply mount on the bottom. There is also a pull-out filter on the bottom of the case for your power supply.
