Microsoft will hold a special event on September 22, for which it has already started sending invites.It will be a digital event only.
Besides the Windows 11 announcement, Microsoft is expected to unveil its new Surface Laptop and Surface Duo’s successor at the event. The leaked images of SurfaceDuo 2 surfaced back in July.
Surface Duo 2 will be powered by Android OS. Don’t expect it to be a normal phone as it will have a dual-screen display with triple camera sensors. Moreover, it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, which supports 5G capabilities and NFC payments.
Microsoft will announce Surface Book 3’s successor too. The device’s name isn’t confirmed yet, but previously, the word was that Microsoft will name it as the Surface Laptop Pro. Microsoft is thinking of switching to non-detachable laptops.
The September event will cover both the upcoming hardware and software from Microsoft.
