HotHardware was lucky enough to get an exclusive view of Alchemist, Intel’s character, which will promote their first GPU lineup.
Intel Alchemist is also the codename for the upcoming Xe-HPG gaming architecture-based GPUs. The codenamed refers to a fictional character that converts normal metals to useful ones like Gold. The same character was featured in Dungeons and Dragons and Final Fantasy XIV series too.
Alongside the Alchemist, Intel has also shared their characters for the next Arc GPU series, which includes Battlemage, Celestial, and Druid. Battlemage belongs to the Elder Scrolls universe. Since the 1970s, Celestial has appeared in fantasies, and its recent appearance was in Marvel Eternals. Last but not least, Druid, the character has been used in several games like Baldur’s Gate, Dungeons and Dragons, EverQuest II, and World of Warcraft.
Intel’s multi-year roadmap was also shared. It consists of four products, out of which three are based on Xe-HPG architecture. It’s not confirmed whether the Intel Druid series will be based on HPG or not. There is no word on the release dates for these products.
