Intel Launches Its NUC X15 Reference Gaming Laptop Featuring Up To Core i7-11800H And RTX 3070

Although Intel’s NUC laptops are not very common because they are sold through system integrators instead of direct sales.

The latest addition to the lineup is the Intel NUC X15 Laptop Kit. It is a high-end gaming laptop with a 11th Gen Core CPU and NVIDIA RTX 30 graphics. It houses either Core i5-11400H Tiger Lake-H CPU or Core i7-11800H, a processor with 8-cores and 16-threads. Intel offers it in 5 variants, with GeForce RTX 3060 or RTX 3070 Laptop GPUs.

The NUC X15’s magnesium-alloy chassis accommodates a 15.6 inch 144Hz, 240Hz FullHD panel, or 165Hz QHD display. Unfortunately, Intel has not provided TGP values; hence it can not be said whether it is the Max-P or Max-Q GPU design.

The main highlights of NUC X15 are optomechanical keyboard switches, PCIe Gen4 storage support, Thunderbolt 4, and HDMI 2.1 connectors. Take note that PCIe Gen4 and Thunderbolt 4 are currently exclusive to Intel’s Tiger Lake-H-based laptops only.

Unfortunately, there is no pricing information yet.
