MINISFORUM To Release DeskMini H31G With A Dedicated GPU

MINISFORUM is all set to release their mini PC H31G at the end of this month. Usually, PCs with similar size to H31G are powered by a very low voltage CPU, but the H31G will be a different story.

The H31G can be equipped with a 65w 9th Gen Intel Core i7 processor; while the available configurations are i5-9400F/i5-9500F/i7-9700F. Since the mini PC can house a 6 or 8 core (sans Hyper-Threading) CPU, it can easily cater to your daily needs along with photo and video editing. The “F” SKU chips lack an iGPU; hence it also lacks Quick Sync, but the H31G has its own dedicated GPU. A pair of SODIMM slots provides dual-channel memory at speeds of 2133/2666MHz with capacities of upto 64GB.

Minisforum has used GTX 1050Ti in the H32G. The GPU is capable of handling a few award winning games like Fortnite and GTA V at 1080p. Both the CPU and GPU share a common cooling solution that is designed for upto 150w of cooling.

Considering the form factor, flexible storage options are provided. Usually, this form factor is offered with an M.2, or a 2.5″ slim bay but the storage expansion options of the H31G include: 1xM.2 2280 PCIe SSD slot up to a 2TB PCIe 4x, 1×2.5″ SATA HDD/SSD, and an additional M.2, but this one is limited to 2242 SATA.

Minisforum will release H31G on 29th September in their official stores.
