MSI is gearing up to broaden its range of QD-OLED gaming monitors, with intentions to unveil multiple models targeting the high-end gaming market. A prior leak had already offered a sneak peek at MSI’s forthcoming QD-OLED gaming monitor lineup, and the company has now officially confirmed these models while specifying a release window in 2024.
Every model in the lineup will feature the latest QD-OLED panels and come in options of curved and flat designs. MSI has also improved MSI OLED Care 2.0, enhancing screen protection to minimize the chances of OLED panel damage during extended usage. The fan-less design leverages graphene’s remarkable thermal conductivity for efficient and noiseless heat dissipation, thereby extending the lifespan of these cutting-edge QD-OLED panels.
QD-OLED Curved Displays
The MAG 341CQP QD-OLED and MPG 491CQP QD-OLED models boast a standard 0.03ms GTG response time and a 144Hz refresh rate. The MAG 341CQP QD-OLED features a 34″ UWQHD QD-OLED 1800R curved panel, while the MPG 491CQP QD-OLED comes with a 49″ DQHD QD-OLED 1800R curved panel.
These models also incorporate various essential elements. They hold VESA certifications for ClearMR 9000 and DisplayHDR True Black 400, guaranteeing gamers receive vivid images and reducing motion blur effects. OLED Care 2.0 enhances panel care and significantly lowers the risk of OLED burn-in. Additionally, MSI Gaming Intelligence (G.I.) powered by AI technology enriches the gaming experience, offering features such as Smart Crosshair, Night Vision AI, Optix Scope, and more.
Console gamers will find these models equipped with HDMI 2.1 ports that provide a full 48Gbps bandwidth, along with support for 120Hz, VRR, and ALLM. MSI Console mode includes CEC (Consumer Electronics Control), enabling users to manage multiple devices using a single controller. Additionally, Type-C functionality is integrated to improve connectivity with mobile devices.
4K/2K Resolution Flat QD-OLED Monitors
The flat panel models in the range span from 27″ WQHD to 32″ WUHD variants, boasting impressive refresh rates of up to 360Hz. These QD-OLED flat displays bring a substantial enhancement to the visual performance of AAA games, particularly those in the FPS genre. All these products are equipped with MSI OLED Care 2.0, which includes the latest fan-less design to prolong the life of OLED panels. These models also incorporate a range of features like MSI Gaming Intelligence, 90W Type-C PD connectivity, and MSI Console Mode.
