MSI To Launch GeForce RTX 4060/4070 Ventus 2X GPUs In White

MSI is getting ready to introduce the Ventus 2X White series, a new inclusion in their product range. Taking cues from the current RTX 40 Ventus 2X Black models, this specific version keeps the same design structure but features an entirely white shroud and backplate.

@wnxod came across unreleased GPU datasheets containing official specifications and new images. These findings shed light on the RTX 4060 and RTX 4070 models, although access to the latter’s information is currently restricted to the public.

Regarding the official specifications, there are no alterations to the GPU clocks. Both the White and Black series will present identical out-of-the-box frequencies. This implies that the OC variant will attain a boost of up to 2505 MHz, which is slightly better than the default 2490 MHz frequency.

The RTX 4060 variant comes with 3072 CUDA cores and 8GB of GDDR6 memory running at 17 Gbps. Like typical RTX 4060 models, this one also utilizes an 8-lane PCIe Gen4 interface. Interestingly, the renders depict a full-sized slot, though only half of the lanes are in use. Additionally, the GPU features four display connectors—three DisplayPort 1.4a ports and one HDMI 2.1 port. The card retains a 115W default TDP.

The exact launch date for MSI’s Ventus 2X White series remains uncertain. However, with the datasheets prepared, the release is likely to occur within days rather than weeks.
