At their BeatIT 2014 event MSI unveiled a limited edition GeForce GTX 970 Gold graphics card. The card looks very similar to their GeForce GTX 970 Gaming, but has a pure copper-stack heatsink instead of aluminum, exposed copper heatpipes, and instead of the red it has gold accents on the shroud.
The card does have a black-plate with a vented design and has a gold MSI dragon on it with “Limited Edition” towards the bottom. Clock speeds for the card were not disclosed, but it is expected that the card will focus on overclocking headroom rather than a factory overclock.
MSI did not say how limited this card is going to be, so we don’t know how many of these cards are going to be produced or in what markets they will actually be available. What do you think of this card?
