Initially launched at $399 in late May, gamers soon realized it wasn’t the most advantageous graphics card deal back then. In response to this feedback, retailers have been steadily lowering the price. The latest offer from Newegg now showcases the RTX 4060 Ti at its lowest ever price of $334, indicating a notable 16% discount in less than two months.
MSI’s version of the RTX 4060 Ti is not the sole model currently experiencing a price reduction. Several other “MSRP” models are now available for $48 less, including certain “OC” variants. However, the deal offered by MSI still stands as the most favorable one thus far.
The timing of this price reduction aligns with the upcoming launch of the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB variant, which is scheduled to hit the market in just a week at an official price of $499. The recent price cut on the base model suggests that the higher-capacity 16GB variant might also require an adjustment upon its release.
The increasing number of deals for the RTX 40 series indicates a clear need for a price reduction across the entire NVIDIA RTX 40 lineup. The sooner NVIDIA recognizes this necessity, the more beneficial it will be for both the company and gamers. Additionally, as Intel and AMD continue with their price adjustments, the pressure on NVIDIA to do the same will intensify.
