The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is around the corner now. The developers behind the game, Treyarch have added some cool new features to the multiplayer aspect of the game and have released a new trailer.
The action-packed trailer revealed some of the in-game activities. The game also hinted at a zombie mode by giving a sneak peek of zombies at the trailer’s end. Activision also published a blog on their website.
As per the blog, the players can travel around the world on the map, and there are 5 major maps named Armada, Crossroads, Miami, Moscow, and Satellite.
The maps also look quite impressive. It also indicates that Treyarch has invested a lot of resources into the development of these maps. The visual research team visited real-life locations to photo scan thousands of physical objects, terrains, environment and materials.
You can expect the standard modes and some new modes in the game. The new modes include VIP Escort, Combined Arms, and Fireteam. The control game mode will return too.
Usually, a new game is available for purchase upon its release, but this will not be applicable to the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The game will support cross-platform and cross-generation play and will also allow cross-progression. Treyarch and Call of Duty: Warzone team is working together on multiplayer projects to expand the free battle royal game.
The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be released on 13th November. If you preorder the game, you can get the beta version access for all platforms on October 17th.
