New AMD Catalyst Omega Drivers Coming

About a year ago AMD released its special edition Catalyst Omega drivers, which featured many bug fixes and introduced quite a lot of new features. It looks like AMD is planning another major Omega update for November. These WHQL-signed drivers should bring with them massive performance optimizations across the board for many of the latest games as well as the opportunity for AMD to introduce new software features to their drivers.

The last Catalyst Omega driver update in 2014 brought with it game optimizations of course, but other features like 4K Virtual Super Resolution (VSR), TressFX 3.0, 5K display support, and other image quality improvements. Expect a lot in these new drivers. If you have a Radeon graphics card this is something to definitely look forward to!
