NVIDIA Cuts Prices on the GeForce GTX 660 and GTX 650 Ti Boost

It looks like NVIDIA was ready for AMD’s launch today and has cut the prices on two of their 600 series cards. The GTX 660 has been given a price cut down from $200 to $179. That means it can better compete with the R9 270X and the R7 260X as it will sit in between both cards.

The second price cut is the GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost. The 1 GB version has been cut to $129 and the 2 GB version has been cut to $149. This means that the GTX 650 Ti Boost 1 GB is cheaper than AMD R7 260X ($139) and the 2 GB version is only $10 more. Early reviews of the R7 260X clearly show the GTX 650 Ti Boost is a much better card.

For those looking for price cuts on other NVIDIA cards you will be disappointed as NVIDIA’s 700 series cards are staying the same.
