So go ahead and mark your calendars for August 30th 2018. This is when NVIDIA will debut their first 11-series graphics card, the GeForce GTX 1180. This card is of course the successor to the GeForce GTX 1080. Exactly one month after that on September 30th 2018 NVIDIA will launch the GeForce GTX 1170 and the GeForce GTX 1180+. The GeForce GTX 1170 will be a cut-down version of the 1180 and of course is the successor to the GTX 1070. The GTX 1180+ is a new brand extension for NVIDIA, it will not be a GTX 1180 Ti, but more likely a GTX 1180 with higher clock speeds and a premium reference design. Finally a month after that on October 30th 2018 NVIDIA will drop the GeForce GTX 1060, right in time for the holiday’s.
