This can be attributed to the higher prices of enthusiast-class cards and lower performance improvements on budget and mainstream options. However, this doesn’t imply that NVIDIA’s own add-in board partners (AIBs) and retailers are unable to make adjustments by offering promotions and discounts on certain models. Nevertheless, it appears that the NVIDIA UK store has made price adjustments for all variants of GeForce RTX 40 Founders Edition cards.
@ghost_motley has discovered that the NVIDIA GeForce UK store, where all GeForce RTX 40 Founders Edition cards are currently listed, has made price adjustments. These changes are attributed to fluctuations in the US/UK currency rate and a reduction in the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP). The updated prices are already in effect.
There has been a notable adjustment in prices for several NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090, previously priced at an MSRP of £1579, has now decreased to £1519. Similarly, the GeForce RTX 4080, previously listed for £1179, is now available for an MSRP of £1139. Additionally, the GeForce RTX 4070 and RTX 4060 Ti have also seen price adjustments and can be purchased for £569 and £379, respectively. These price drops range from -3% to -4% in terms of MSRP, providing consumers with the opportunity to benefit from lower prices directly through the official NVIDIA store.
However, it is still advisable for consumers to explore different retailers in the United Kingdom, as there are numerous deals available where these cards can be purchased at significantly lower prices. For instance, OCUK offers NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090s starting at £1499, and similar deals can be found for other cards as well. While finding these deals may require some effort, it is certainly possible to come across a great deal from time to time.
