NVIDIA Officially Announces the GeForce RTX 3050 Graphics Card

During its CES 2022 livestream NVIDIA announced a new entry-level graphics card, the GeForce RTX 3050. This card will be based off the GA106-150 GPU with 20 SM units, 2560 CUDA cores, and 8GB of GDDR6 memory across a 128-bit memory bus. This memory will be clocked at 14Gbps giving the card a total memory bandwidth of 224 GB/s.

NVIDIA RTX 3050 Designs

The cards boasts 9 TFLOPS of single-precision compute power. The card will be available on January 27th with a suggested retail price of $249. When it comes to performance the card is will over 60 FPS in many AAA titles at 1080p and extend performance even further with the use of 2nd generation RT and Tensor cores. This will be a massive leap over the entry-level GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card.
