NVIDIA has been touting their BFGD (Big Format Gaming Display) solutions since CES back in January. These are set to be the ultimate displays for gamers with their 4K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, G-Sync, HDR, and 1000 NITS peak brightness. It seems as if integrating so much tech into these displays is giving integrators a hard time.
With that NVIDIA partners have announced that these BFGD panels have been delayed till Q1 of 2019. With the delay the cost of these panels have gone up as well, not costing between $4000 and $5000. That will make these displays a tough sell considering OLED solutions can be had for much, much less.
