Elixir Keyboard Overview
The Elixir keyboard is a full-sized keyboard so you have all your keys as well as a number pad. It has an all black design with black keys, it only comes in this color. This is a USB-connected keyboard, which most gamers do prefer because of the lag issues with wireless keyboards.
On each side of the keyboard you have a set of shortcut keys and 5 blue programmable hotkeys. Starting on the left side of the keyboard the shortcut keys are computer, e-mail, home, favorites, back, forward and refresh. Moving over to the right side you have launch media player, play/pause, stop, previous, next, volume up, volume down and mute. So besides the hotkeys you have a nice array of easy to use shortcut keys for both internet and multimedia.
Towards the top of the keyboard you have the Alchemy and Elixir logos which give this keyboard some style.
The wrist rest of the keyboard has a sort of matte finish, but is still made of plastic. Flipping the keyboard over you have your typical rubber feet and a set of risers that give you a single vertical adjustment.
