Sandra Physical Disks benchmark is built into SiSoftware’s Sandra software suite. It tests drive performance and gives you a drive score and random access time.
PCMark Vantage has a great hard drive test suite built into it. This test was a great way to see the “hot caching” as the first run of the software gave us about the same results as the normal hard drive, but as we ran it over and over the test results got much better.
One thing that I really wanted to test with this hybrid solution was Windows boot time. I found cool app called BootRacer that made it very easy to track boot up times.
As you can see there was somewhat of a change 19 seconds compared to 46 seconds.
having a few HDD already installed to my PC, 1x 2TB, 2x 500gb. removing
them is not an option for me, i am kinda lazy. Cache SSD is the best
choice for my situation. installation is a piece of cake, speed improve
by 50% at least. this is the best SSD ever from what i can tell.
