Patriot G Series AMD Black Edition DDR3-1333 4GB Dual Channel Memory Kit Review

Conclusion
If you’re looking to build a complete AMD system, then any of the G Series AMD Black Edition RAM should work well for you. They’re available in both 4GB and 8GB kits and available at different speeds.  Using the AMD OverDrive Utility is great if you’re looking to overclock or even if you’re just looking for a lot of system information. OverDrive provides all of the necessary resources you could possibly need for a system and while it’s a comprehensive program, it might not be as reliable for benchmarks. I found varying test results when using OverDrive for the RAM, but still was able to get a more accurate result after multiple tests.

Overall the Patriot G Series AMD Black Edition DDR3-1333 4GB Dual Channel Memory Kit provides what you need for an AMD Black Edition ready system. You can get this kit for around $60 online at various retailers, which is about average compared to other AMD ready kits.

While we did encounter a few issues, I can’t say that we can really blame the RAM. It did what is was supposed to do and that’s why Think Computers would like to give the Patriot G Series AMD Black Edition DDR3-1333 4GB Dual Channel Memory Kit a 9 out of 10 score.
