Patriot Viper 4 DDR4 Overview
The PV48G340C6K kit is an 8GB kit made up of two 4GB modules. The kit is set to run at 3400 MHz with timings of 16-18-18-36 at 1.35V.
Taking a look at the modules Patriot has gone with a black and red design that is going to match many popular motherboards out there. The PCB’s of the modules are also all black, which adds a nice touch. On the main side of the modules you have a Viper logo.
Flipping the modules over you have stickers on each that let you know the part number, capacity, speed, and timings.
There is a small heatsink on the top of the heatspreaders which will help keep the modules nice and cool. You can actually remove these if you want so you can paint them if red is not your preferred color.
The heatsinks on the top of the heatspreaders do come up above the modules a little bit, but not so much that you will have any clearence issues.
