Installation a M.2 Drive in the Patriot Viper EV330
Patriot was nice enough to send us over their Viper VP4000 Mini drive to use in the EV330. This is a Gen4 drive that has speeds of up to 5000 MB/s and is the perfect thing for a portable game console like the ROG Ally.
With the PCB removed we can easily slot in our drive. There is a screw that you need to remove to get the drive in, again Patriot includes the small screwdriver so this is not an issue at all.
Now just reinstall the PCB in the enclosure and close it up with the screw you removed previously. With the drive installed we can see it through the window in the enclosure. Finally slip the bump over the enclosure and you are ready to take it with you!
