Packaging

The VPN110 comes to us in Patriot’s standard retail packaging, which consists of a small black and red box. On the front of the box we see an image of the drive itself, along with a few specifications regarding read and write speeds of the drive. A flashy chrome sticker is affixed to the front cover showing the capacity of the drive inside – ours happens to be the 1TB version.

The front panel of the box is actually a hinged door that lets you look inside to get a glimpse of the drive being held within. With the flap open, we can see some additional marketing information about the drive and some of the features like a dedicated thermal sensor and aluminum heat shield.
