Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ITX Special Edition Case Review

Final Thoughts
So when Derrick reviewed the original version of this case he gave it a 10 out of 10. Never seeing one of these cases in person or working with one how do I feel after reviewing one? I think Derrick gave the correct score in his original review, there really is not much to dislike about this case and building in it is a breeze.

The one thing I like about this case is that it is not your typical mini-ITX case designed to be super small. We see so many of these and not only do they lack on space, but they are extremely hard to build in. The Enthoo Evolv ITX has enough room inside to build a very beefy system. While you can only fit an ITX case inside you can fit full-size graphics card, full-size ATX power supplies and quite a lot of storage. On top of that you can fit quite a lot a watercooling inside. With that said the case is still small enough that it is not a pain to take with you to LAN parties or other events.

This case is a pure joy to build in. I did not run into a single issue when doing my install. Even though this is a mini-ITX case it did not feel cramped at all. One of my favorite features of the case is the pull-out radiator bracket. It makes it extremely easy to install a watercooling radiator outside the case where you have more room. I also really like that the multi-function mid-plate covers up the wiring of your graphics card. This keeps your build looking clean. The included velcro cable ties on the back of the case also help to keep cable mess to a minimum.

The new special editions of the this case give users two new color options to choose from and match with their hardware. They also make a great start to a mod project.

It is not often that I feel a company has knocked it out of the park with a product, but Phanteks has really done it with the Enthoo Evolv ITX. If you are doing a mini-ITX build this case is one I can definitely recommend.

The special editions of the Evolv ITX are not currently on sale right now, but the red and black we reviewed today will have an MSRP of $69.99 and the white and black version will only be $10 more. If you want to pick up the original (black) version it is available now at our favorite online retailer for $69.99. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ITX Special Edition Case a 10 out of 10 score and our Recommended Award!
