Phanteks has been making a good name for themselves in the case market recently, but we have to remember they came into the industry making fans and CPU coolers. Today we will be taking a look at one of their latest CPU coolers, the PH-TC14S. This cooler incorporates the dual tower design and performance of the PH-TC14PE but in a slimmer form. The reason for the slimmer form factor is better compatibility. So this cooler is 100% compatible with tall RAM modules and larger motherboard VRM heatsinks. The cooler also features a dual-tower design, six large heatpipes and a single Phanteks PH-F140HP II PWM high static pressure fan. Can this cooler still gives us great performance? Read on as we find out!
Special thanks to Phanteks for providing us with the PH-TC14S CPU Cooler to review.
The PH-TC14S comes in a pretty basic box. On the front towards the top corner is the product name and that is it.
On one side of the package you have a full listing of specifications and a little bit of information on the cooler itself.
The opposite side of the box goes over some of the technology and features that are present in the cooler.
Opening the box up and getting everything out we have the PH-TC14S cooler, mounting hardware for both Intel and AMD systems, thermal compound, a set of extra fan clips and an installation manual.
