There is a ton of buzz surrounding next-generation GPUs these days, and AMD is getting as much limelight as NVIDIA. AMD’s next-gen GPU, the MI100 accelerator is set to rival NVIDIA’s A100 Ampere. Possible specifications of the AMD Radeon MI100 have now leaked, and we could even see a launch by December.
All that power that goes up to 42 TFLOPs is the reason the AMD Radeon MI100 is able to get close to the NVIDIA A100 Ampere. It also churns out 9.5 TFLOPs at FP64, and 150 TFLOPs at FP16 compute tasks.
AdoredTV also says the GPU could debut in the market by December. Thoughts? Hit us up in the comments, down below!
