Possible specifications of AMD Radeon MI100 “Arcturus” CDNA GPU leak, could launch in December

There is a ton of buzz surrounding next-generation GPUs these days, and AMD is getting as much limelight as NVIDIA. AMD’s next-gen GPU, the MI100 accelerator is set to rival NVIDIA’s A100 Ampere. Possible specifications of the AMD Radeon MI100 have now leaked, and we could even see a launch by December.

Yesterday, we had talked about the AMD Radeon MI100 and its performance against the NVIDIA A100 Ampere. We also got some more details about the GPU from AdoredTV. Take a look:

All that power that goes up to 42 TFLOPs is the reason the AMD Radeon MI100 is able to get close to the NVIDIA A100 Ampere. It also churns out 9.5 TFLOPs at FP64, and 150 TFLOPs at FP16 compute tasks.
