Radeon RX 7800XT/7700XT Alloy GPUs From Vastarmor Feature RGB On The Fans

Vastarmor, a graphics card manufacturer based in China, has recently introduced two new models: the RX 7800 XT Alloy and the RX 7700 XT Alloy Pro. These cards feature the same external design but vary in their internal GPU and memory configurations.

The RX 7800 XT Alloy and RX 7700 XT Alloy Pro both come equipped with a sturdy cooling system sporting a triple-fan design and occupying 2.5 slots. These cards measure 32.8 cm in length, 13.2 cm in width, and 5.3 cm in height. Additionally, both models include a slight overclocking feature, potentially leading to increased power consumption in contrast to AMD’s reference specifications of 263W and 245W for the RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT models, respectively.

Vastarmor has revealed the clock speeds for these cards, with the RX 7700 XT operating at 1784/2276/2600 MHz (base/game/boost), while the RX 7800 XT is set at 1624/2254/2565 MHz. It’s worth mentioning that the company offers base clock details, which is somewhat uncommon. Nevertheless, this translates to approximately a 5 to 6% overclock compared to AMD’s specifications.

The RX 7800 XT Alloy features 3840 Stream Processors and packs 16GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit bus, while the RX 7700 XT uses a slightly smaller chip with 3540 cores and 12GB of GDDR6 memory on a 192-bit bus. Both cards incorporate 64MB of Infinity Cache.

Regarding power requirements, both cards retain the dual 8-pin connectors, and Vastarmor suggests a minimum 700W PSU for either card. They come standard with DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 connectors.

While these cards may not particularly stand out in terms of specifications, they do offer a unique feature in their fan design. The cooling system utilizes a setup with fans sized at 100+90+100 mm, and what sets them apart is the integration of small RGB lights within the fans themselves. As these fans rotate, gamers will enjoy the captivating sight of RGB rings in action, although hopefully not too mesmerizing.
