RTX 3080 12GB and RTX 3070 Ti 16GB Confirmed By Gigabyte

Well it looks like it is happening, we will see both GeForce RTX 3080 12GB and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 16GB graphics cards very soon. Gigabyte has just submitted a new SKU list to the Eurasian Economic Commission regulatory office which has multiple models of both of these cards listed. Gigabyte will be offering at least 10 GeForce RTX 3080 12GB models. The RTX 3080 if you remember launched with a 10GB frame buffer so this will be a slight upgrade of 2GB to the frame buffer.

Also in the filing we see six RTX 3070 Ti 16GB models. The RTX 3070 Ti launched with an 8GB frame buffer so NVIDIA will essentially be doubling that giving these cards a 16GB frame buffer. The card is expected to have the same CUDA configuration as the original.

Also listed here we see the AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT, which appears to be a 4GB card. It has been rumored that this card will feature a full Navi 24 GPU with 1024 stream processors.

We can likely expect these cards to be launched / announced in January, probably at CES 2022.
