SAMA L70 360 WH Liquid CPU Cooler Review

Final Thoughts on the SAMA L70

As my first experience with a SAMA all-in-one CPU liquid cooler, or any SAMA product for that matter, I think the L70 fared quite well. Cooling performance in idle situations was at the hot end of our charts, though load temperatures were in the midrange. With fans limited to a low-end speed of just 800RPM, we weren’t able to get a lower reading, but the noise output of these thicker fans was quite impressive across our testing speeds. The 20 FPI rating paired up with lower static pressure fans turned out to be a combination that provides good load temperatures and acceptable noise output while sacrificing a bit of idle temperature performance.

Regarding the looks of the SAMA L70, the ARGB lighting on the fans is nice, but the center fan on our review sample did have an LED that wanted to be in a constant state of magenta.

It’s not a deal breaker, but certainly something that was noticed, and was hopefully just a one-off component issue. I think the infinity mirror design on the pump housing looks great, and I like how the geometric patterns are hidden until the unit is turned on.

Available from our favorite online retailer for $69.99, the SAMA L70 brings together an affordable combination of performance, aesthetics, and affordability. Three ARGB fans, a distinctly styled pump housing, and midrange performance give this cooler, and SAMA, a good first impression. If you’re looking for an affordable AIO that looks good, keeps your CPU temperatures in check, and won’t break the bank, then the SAMA L70 may just be for you. The SAMA L70 earns a 7 out of 10.
