SAMA is a new name here at ThinkComputers, and they have sent over their new L70 all-in-one liquid cooler for us to take a look at. The SAMA L70 has a few unique features that not only enhance the performance of the cooler, but make sure it looks good doing it at the same time. At a time when it seems like every established company has its own AIO, and new brands are popping up left and right with coolers of their own, it makes it hard to stand out from the crowd. Let’s see if the SAMA L70 is up to the task.
Special thanks to SAMA for providing the L70 review sample!
Specifications of the SAMA L70
Packaging of the SAMA L70
SAMA packages the L70 in a very basic cardboard box, with a very “natural” feeling texture. There isn’t any chrome or flashy materials here, but there is a nice semi-gloss color image of the cooler on the front of the box, along with the product name and a small line of text letting you know that this is a 360mm cooler.
The back side of the box has a large specifications table, which I always appreciate, especially when finding a product on a retail shelf. Having this type of information at your fingertips is always a plus in my book.
Internally, the L70 is kept in place via a molded cardboard tray. The entire cooler is also wrapped in a plastic bag to keep the components free from any scuffs or marks during its time in the packaging.
Accessories that come with the SAMA L70
Included with the L70 is an arrangement of installation components for modern AMD and Intel platforms, as well as a physical installation guide. This includes everything from mounting brackets, fan screws, and tubing clips, to a tube of thermal paste.
