It looks like Samsung is prepping a smaller version of their very popular Galaxy S III handset that may launch as early as next week. Samsung’s German division has been sending out press invites, which give a very good indication of what they will be unveiling. The invitation in German reads, “That’s how big small can be.” with a familiar Galaxy “S” logo in the background. So whatever Samsung is launching it is part of the Galaxy S family.
There are a few rumored specs for this new Galaxy S III Mini – A 4-inch AMOLED screen and a 5MP camera. The 4-inch AMOLED screen is only 0.8 inches smaller than the regular Galaxy S III and the same size as the screen on the iPhone 5. So maybe it will be just a little bit smaller and less powerful? More like a lower cost version of the Galaxy S III? We will have to wait till October 11th to find out! What do you think?
