Initially revealed in May, the new Sapphire Radeon graphics card has now been released. This model, built on the RX 7700XT PURE version, sports a custom design influenced by the visual style of the game Frostpunk 2.

This special edition graphics card features a frosty-white fan shroud and an oil-black metal backplate with rusty speckles. To enhance its appearance, Sapphire added a special ARGB logo that lights up in yellow, matching Frostpunk’s theme. The card comes in unique packaging and includes an exclusive bundle.

The RX 7700 XT PURE Frostpunk2 Edition comes with the Frostpunk 2 Deluxe Edition, a rarity among game-themed GPUs that usually don’t include the game itself (an odd but common practice). Sapphire also includes three collectible keycaps (F P 2) and three enamel pins, although they may not have much practical use.

Inside, this model is equipped with the Navi 32 GPU and 3456 Stream Processors. It comes factory-overclocked to a boost clock of 2584 MHz and includes 12GB of GDDR6 memory. The card features non-standard display outputs: two HDMI 2.1 ports and two DisplayPort 2.1 ports. Its Total Board Power (TBP) is 240W, which is slightly lower than AMD’s reference specification of 245W.

The card is currently on sale for $449.99, but you can get it for $439 with a $10 discount coupon on Newegg. Although it isn’t the least expensive 7700 XT from Sapphire—that would be the PULSE model at $399—it presents a solid alternative to the original PURE, which costs over $500.
