The GPU on display seems to be the Sapphire NITRO+ graphics card, bearing a design remarkably similar to the RX 7900 XT. Yet, there’s uncertainty whether it’s the Lite edition without a vapor chamber or the original model. However, what is confirmed is that the graphics card comes with dual 8-pin power connectors and is equipped with 16GB of memory.

The Radeon RX 7900 GRE, or the Golden Rabbit Edition, is a special celebratory variant primarily targeted at the Chinese market, with uncertain availability worldwide. This GPU combines AMD’s high-end Navi 31 capabilities with a memory configuration akin to NVIDIA’s RTX 4080 or the recently launched RTX 4060 Ti model.

According to reports, the card is said to feature 84 RDNA3 Compute Units, boasting similar GPU specifications to the RX 7900 XT. However, a notable distinction lies in its memory configuration, with the GRE model sporting 16GB of 256-bit memory, while the standard edition has 20GB across 320-bit.

It is worth noting that the unveiling of the Radeon RX 7900 GRE aligns with the eager anticipation for updates on AMD’s mid-range 7800/7700 series, which interestingly remain unreleased. As of now, AMD’s lineup comprises three cards: two belonging to the enthusiast-level 7900 series, while the RX 7600 represents the lower end in terms of performance. This results in a significant gap that was previously filled by the Radeon 6800/6900 series, which are now becoming less accessible.
