It has been quite a long time since we’ve taken a look at an air cooler from SilverStone. They reached out and wanted to see if we wanted to check out their Hydrogon D120 ARGB CPU cooler and I was definitely intrigued. The Hydrogon D120 ARGB features a dual tower design with two 120 mm ARGB fans, six heatpipes, and what seems to be a very simple mounting system. Can this cooler compete with some of the big names in the air cooler space? Read on as we find out!
Special thanks to SilverStone for providing us with the Hydrogon D120 ARGB CPU Cooler to review.
The Hydrogon D120 ARGB comes in a very detail retail box. On the front we have a picture of the cooler and it lets us know it is compatible with pretty much all motherboard RGB software. Flipping around back we have a list of features, specifications, and dimensions.
The sides of the box have even more information and detail some of the main features of the cooler. I feel that if you were at a store you would be able to man an informed buying decision based on the retail box.
Getting everything out of the box we have the Hydrogon D120 ARGB CPU Cooler, mounting hardware for both AMD and Intel sockets, thermal paste, a screwdriver, and an installation guide.
