Installation of the TD03-Slim is a pretty straight forward affair thanks to Silverstones’ simple and intelligent mounting system. Begin by inserting the standoffs into the correct holes for your motherboard. Our board is 1155 so we used the center holes. Next insert the screws through the holes in the back of your motherboard.
Now secure the standoff screws and backplate in place with the black plastic standoffs.
With the socket ready we now move to attaching the fans and installing the radiator. Find the short fan screws and attach the fan with the blades facing into the radiator and wires toward the back. You should also have the radiator oriented so that the hoses are at the bottom.
Now with one hand holding the rad in place secure the radiator to the back of the case using the shortest screws included in the set. You should also run the fan wire to the back of the case at this point, depending on your case you might want run the wire before securing the radiator.
With the radiator securely in place you can now attach the pump to the CPU surface. Apply a grain of rice size bit of thermal paste to the center of the CPU first. Now press the pump firmly and evenly on the surface of the CPU. Holding it in place with one hand secure it with the spring loaded thumb screws in a cross pattern until you have them all fully finger tight.
All of the hardware is now installed and we can go ahead and finish up with the electrical connections. First attach the three pin pump power connector to the CPU_FAN header on the motherboard. Next attach the four pin PWM fan connector to your power source of choice or directly to the power supply using the included molex connector.
Installation is now complete, you can fire up your upgraded rig. Before replacing your side panel check that the fan and pump are both functioning after you hit the power button.
