SkullCandy has just announced its limited-edition Transparency Series of headphones and earbuds. This new range focuses on carbon reduction and environmental impact and aims to increase awareness around the effect that manufacturing can have on the environment.
The new range includes two products. The first one is the Limited-Edition Skullcandy Transparency Series Hesh Evo Wireless Headphones which have 40mm drivers, 36 hours long battery life, and a Rapid Charge which can give three hours of battery time after only 10 minutes of battery charge.
In addition to this, there is the Limited-Edition Skullcandy Transparency Series Jib True 2 Wireless Earbuds. These earbuds have 6mm drivers, 33 hours long battery life, and are IPX4 water resistant.
Both of these pairs are designed with the Built-In Tile Finding Technology which is not just fun in colors but makes a perfect setting for the kids too. Talking about the environmental initiative, SkullCandy has joined hands with Protect Our Winters who are known to be very prominent advocates for climate change. Some amount from the sales proceeds will be given in charity to the Not-For-Profit group.
They have also partnered with EcoChain in order to reduce their carbon footprint and improve the manufacturing process. EcoChain will assess the level of carbon emissions in the process and will help to reduce this impact.
