Sony Honami Press Shot Leaks, to be Called Xperia Z1

Sony’s soon-to-release camera flagship device, which was once rumored by the name Honami and has been up till now, will be eventually called Xperia Z One. The news was leaked by a renowned XDA-Developers user, who has provided some leaks about the previous Xperia models as well.

More over a couple of press shots of Xperia Z 1 were released today, alas! they were not of high resolution, although the renders have unveiled the fact that Sony Xperia Z One will be available in three colors i.e., white, purple and black. Something else we have noticed from these press shots is the glass back of the phone, indicating the same as was present in the original Xperia Z.

The design is very similar to the Xperia Z with glass back. The main attraction of Xperia Honami aka Z1 will be its 20.7 MP camera with Xenon and LED flash capable of 4K video recording. But hold on here, that’s still a rumor. But if the news turns out to be true, it might be its key selling point.

Let us also tell you here, what other specifications are being rumored about. The new Xperia Z One will include Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset with quad-core Krait 400 processor, Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS. Like the other models of Xperia series, this one is said to be water resistant as well.

The Xperia Z1 is due to be formally announced on September 4 at IFA event in Berlin.
