Spire Announces Swirl IV CPU Cooler

Spire has just announced their 4th generation of its Swirl CPU coolers. As the name suggests the Swirl IV features a unique fin-stack design in which swirl-shaped fins are arranged perpendicular to the plane of the motherboard. A lateral-flow fan then pushes air drawn from the central cutout in all directions through the fin-stacks that surround it.

The cooler also features three 8 mm-thick nickel-plated copper heatpipes. With support for all modern CPU sockets including LGA2011 series, LGA115x series, AM3+, and FM2+ the Swirl IV supports CPUs with TDPs of up to 130W. The cooler itself measures 131 mm x 125 mm x 62 mm (WxDxH) and weighs in at 690g. The fan inside the cooler will spin at 600 to 2000 RPM pushing up to 83.12 CFM of air with a noise output of 26 dBA.
