HTC 10 Smartphone Review

HTC was one of the big names when it came to Android smartphones, but their last few phones did not really impress that much. HTC recently released their latest flagship Android Smartphone in the HTC 10. The HTC 10 succeeds the HTC One M9 and packs in a lot of great features like an aluminum chassis design, USB-C charging and connectivity, Android 6.0, 5.2-inch 1440 x 2560 pixel Quad HD display, 12 mega-pixel camera, and much more. Under the hood the HTC 10 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 2.2 GHz dual-core CPU and 4GB of RAM. Our friends over at Verizon sent this phone over for us to take a look at and to be honest I am an iPhone user. I have been since the original iPhone. That’s what is going to make this review interesting, an Android phone review from an iPhone user. Can an iPhone user recommend the HTC 10? Are there certain things about the HTC 10 that I like over my iPhone 6s? How does the HTC 10 stack up performance-wise against the HTC 10? We will cover all of that so let’s jump in!

iPhone 5-friendly Nano-SIMs Popping up at T-Mobile Stores

The iPhone 5 is not ready for sale officially unlocked yet, but that does not mean T-Mobile is not ready to be your service provider. It seems this week many T-Mobile stores have received their first shipments of the iPhone 5-friendly Nano-SIMs TmoNews has confirmed. These Nano-SIMs will work perfectly with the Verizon-variant of the iPhone 5 as it is technically unlocked out of the box. Before you run down to your local T-Mobile store I would call to see if they have them in stock as they are being sent to select stores in a very limited quantity.

Samsung’s Galaxy S Series

Sleek design, fast processor, full featured and a long battery, yeah right? Well Samsung didn’t think it wasn’t possible so they pushed the envelope and made such a good phone that all 4 of the major US providers wanted a bite. The Samsung Galaxy S lives in its own class of Smartphone. It’s the first phone to feature Samsungs’ Super AMOLED screen which is on another level compared to all screen types. The phones feature Android 2.1 and were recently updated to 2.2 Froyo. The phone also sports Samsungs 1Ghz Hummingbird Processor so you know it packs a punch. Even though the heart is the same in everyone one of these beasts the limbs are very much different. Today I hope to break this down for you so you can choose exactly what galaxy to visit.

Original Sinner…Err Slider

Sometimes the Mobile division of ThinkComputers likes to look back at where things all started. At one point in time, through everyone’s cell phone journey, we’ve all experienced a “slide” phone. So of us fell in love, and some of us never looked back once we moved on. But sometimes you have to ponder… what phone was the phone to start the slide craze that seems to still be prominent today?

Battle of the Carriers and their Phones

The big 4. In the US these companies represent the cellular provider nearly for 300 million people, at least the ones who have cell phones worth talking about. Each company has boat loads of phones to choose from but with each provider one phone sits alone at the top. Today, we are going to go over the Big 4’s big 4. Some of these phones have been around for awhile but still reign supreme with their respective companies. We’ll give you a brief overview of the phones; the good, the bad, and certainly the ugly but ultimately it’s your call.
