The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 To Launch Next Week

It has been reported that that NVIDIA has decided to speed up the launch of the GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card. This will be their performance segment card that is meant to compete with AMD’s Radeon RX 480. The GeForce GTX 1060 was supposed to have a fall 2016 launch, but this have been moved up to early July. The card is expected to be launched on the 7th of July, with market availability a week later on July 14th.

We expect that NVIDIA is pushing up the launch to directly complete with AMD’s RX 480 graphics card. This will be the third card NVIDIA has released that is based on the “Pascal” architecture following the GeForce GTX 1080 and GTX 1070.
