When it comes to the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, the latest regulatory filings by Maxsun hint to the fact that there could be both a 16GB and 8GB variant of the card. These cards are expected to launch in early Q2 of 2025 and Maxsun has already filed its paperwork for its custom-designed cards under its iCraft line. The interesting thing about this filing is that it appears the RTX 5060 Ti series will have two different memory options, 16GB and 8GB.
If we look at the filing we see seven RTX 5060 Ti 16GB cards as well as seven RTX 5060 Ti 8GB cards. Finally there are eight RTX 5060 (non-Ti) cards which are all 8GB so it seems the non-Ti card will not have different memory size options. Having double the memory (16GB) could really help with ray tracing workloads and NVIDIA is rumored to be equipping these cards with faster GDDR7 memory.
